According to Budget 2019 announcement on 2/11, there is a stamp duty exemption for the first RM300,000 for any first home purchase. This is the good news for Bryan who plan to buy his first home in 2019. And he has started his shopping now for all types of property for his own stay.
Is it true that this exemption applied to all types of property?

Stamp Duty exemption only apply for first RM300,000 and purchase up to RM500,00. However this is only apply to Residential Title property only and duration from now to 31 December 2020.
