Women Entrepreneurs’ Conference 2009 – Risks and Rewards (R2) – Leading the Knowledge-based Economy

This Conference was co-organised by Gorgeous Geeks and MDEC and supported by MSC Malaysia and Technology Park Malaysia was held on 12 and 13 August 2009 at Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil to provide female entrepreneur leaders with ideas and inspiration to fuel the future of their businesses focusing on “Risks & Rewards”.

It also serves as a platform to ensure that female entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to discover the support channels available to overcome economic downturn and to position their businesses to excel when the economy recovers. The conference seeks to help women obtain access to capital, improve their business skills & strategies as well as leverage on technology to start up and grow their businesses.

I was invited to speak at this all women conference for the Business Boot Camp as a forum panel speaker for “Marketing through Social Web Media”. Being one of the very few men in this Conference, I definitely felt privilege to be a part of such a successful conference.
