On November 27, Madam Ng write in and asked on the following:
I need some legal advise on the issue of water leakage from the upper unit floor to my condo. My condo is at Pantai Hillpark Ph 2, 7 -13-1. The JMB has called and written letters to the owner of 7-14-1. To date the owner has not response. I have written an email to DBKL and has yet to revert back. Attached are some photos of the leakage and the letter to DBKL.

Assuming throughout checking has been conducted by experienced company or expert and it is identified that the leaking problem is caused by the upper unit. When the owner upstairs is not taking action to solve the problem, you may consider to take the following actions:-
- To lodge a complaint with the Commissioner of Buildings (COB) on the matter. The Commissioner may serve a Notice strictly complied with and the Buildings and Common Property (Maintenance and Management) Act 663 directing both owners to carry out the requisite repairs;
- Alternatively, you may consult a lawyer to file a lawsuit against the owner upstairs in court.
